Web Developer: The role of a Web Developer is to possess an insatiable desire to learn new things, an aptitude for understanding and translating technical information into content suitable for the layperson. It requires a good sense of aesthetics and internet design principles, strong attention to detail, and an ability to multitask within a tight production schedule. This position involves researching wide varieties of industrial products, innovating new ways of integrating and presenting information about these items, researching customer website behavior, creating web layouts that help customers find products intuitively, presenting and defending ideas to all levels of management, implementing the design plan, and testing its functionality. In addition to designing new searches, other daily activities comprise of regular maintenance, redesign, and investigating ways to improve upon our online and print catalog.

Documentation Writer: Worked within Quality Assurance Department; wrote Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) from information gathered via technical manuals and operator observation. Incorporated and edited digital photos, diagrams, and flowcharts for extended procedural clarification. Revised existing electronic documentation according to Document Change Requests. Routed changes to assigned managers for review and distributed documents to appropriate individuals or locations after approval. Updated thousands of documents to adhere to control policies, conformed to strict formatting guidelines, and ensured confidentiality. Maintained several databases to guarantee proper document versions were released and historical documents were archived.
